Ron's getting an award for 5 years of service with the VA Department of Corrections. We're both excited about that.
My classes are going well. My UVA class finishes May 7th and my Family Literacy Class finishes May 27th. I can't believe how quickly the time has gone.
All the animals are healthy! With our crew that's a huge blessing.
We laugh every day. One of our favorite things to do is to "sing opera" of our mundane thoughts, activities. While we find it hilarious, I'm not sure the cats do. CJ usually gets a disgusted look and leaves the room. Samba studiously ignores us. Moxie energetically digs the afghan - not doubt trying to take cover! Jasper is usually upstairs out of range.
Luckily, in this economic downturn that's all it takes for us to amuse ourselves! Charge on our Visa $0. Value: Priceless.

- The Boyer Bunch is a take off from The Brady Bunch, for when Ron and I first were married we combined households: he had two dogs and a cat and I had two cats and a dog. Nine years later our cast of characters include: In-door Cats: Charles Jefferson, the Third (”CJ”), Moxie, Samba and Jasper. Barn Cats: Hunter and Tabitha. Horses: Chief, Sonny, Spring and Castillian. Dog: Alex. Fish: Gloria and crew. Of course, we can’t forget ourselves for Ron’s Annual Fall into the Creek and my eccentricities make up our motto of: Life is Never Dull.” Our Blog chronicles this life.
